Nicole is on the board of Varuna, the National Writers’ House, which runs writers’ residencies and professional writers’ programs for over 200 writers each year from all over Australia.
It also runs the annual Blue Mountains Writers’ Festival.
Sydney Women’s Fund (SWF)
Nicole sits on the Advisory Council of the Sydney Women’s Fund (SWF).
SWF is dedicated to:
empowering women and families in need in the greater Sydney area and
increasing gender equity and opportunity.
SWF funds grassroots organisations which provide programs for women in three areas:
Education and employment
Safety and crisis
Inclusion and wellbeing
